Foreign Policy

The fundamental principles guiding Cabo Verde's foreign policy are enshrined in the Constitution and take into account all factors affecting national interests.

The Ministry's overarching mission includes:

  • Enhancing services for emigrant communities.
  • Reinforcing Cabo Verde's role as a Small Island Developing State (SIDS) and securing partner contributions to the Climate and Environmental Fund.
